Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Section A: Mathematics

A general mathematics journal, publishing peer-reviewed papers of international standard across the whole spectrum of mathematics.

The RSE is committed to the widespread dissemination of scientific knowledge. Through the Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Proceedings A: Mathematics, the Society continues to encourage and support the international Mathematics community by:
• publishing a journal of international standing and authorship;
• aiming to have papers reviewed within three months of submission, by at least two referees of international standing; and usually publishing within six months of acceptance of revised papers.

Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Section A: Mathematics is a general mathematics journal, and welcomes papers in this subject area from academics and researchers.

We accept the following types of articles:
