The Autumn issue of ReSourcE features the challenges and opportunities of Brexit and the RSE’s visit to China. It also announces the £52k legacy gratefully received by the late Professor Patrick Meares to support the RSE’s Grants Programme for Fellows and Young Academy of Scotland members. Also, the RSE is pleased to receive a special portrait of RSE ‘grandfather’ Colin Maclaurin, a leading Scottish mathematician with close connections to the RSE.
