Professor Thomas William Greggs FRSE

Marischal Professor of Divinity and Head of Divinity, University of Aberdeen.

Professor Tom Greggs is a founding member of the Aberdeen Centre for Protestant Theology and the former Secretary of Society for the Study of Theology. He currently convenes a sub-group on religious pluralism for the World Council of Churches Faith and Order Commission and has previously been co-chair for Scriptural Reasoning in the American Academy of Religion. His research focuses on Christian doctrine and inter-faith dialogue, and he has worked globally on issues relating to peace between religious communities. Tom is also actively involved in supporting gifted and talented students (particularly from less advantaged backgrounds) throughout the UK.
