Sir David Cox
Sir David Cox is one of the world’s leading statisticians through his work in theoretical and applied statistics and applied probability. His early career included roles at the Royal Aircraft Establishment, and Universities of Cambridge and London before taking up post as Chair in Statistics at Imperial College London in 1966. In 1988 David was appointed Warden of Nuffield College, University of Oxford before retiring in 1994.
