Fellowship

Patrick Hodge’s principal areas of experience are in commercial law and advocacy. He has an interest in the structures and practices that underpin the rule of law and the role of judges as lawmakers. He also has experience in engaging at a high level with the judiciary in China which involves preserving a delicate balance between constructive cooperation and the preservation of western norms. He has lectured on the need to reform the law to facilitate and regulate the development of financial technology and on the need for our legal systems to embrace digital technology to enhance access to justice.
