Professor Randolph Harvey Richards CBE FRSE

Emeritus Professor, Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling.

Professor Randolph Richards is Emeritus Professor at the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling. A fish pathologist, he made landmark contributions to the fundamental understanding of fish diseases and to the aquaculture industry. He was Director of the Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Stirling from 1996 to 2009 and is currently Vice Chairman of the Moredun Foundation. He was awarded a CBE in the 2008 Birthday Honours and in 2016 the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons awarded Randolph the Queen’s Medal – the highest honour that they can bestow upon a veterinary surgeon.
