Professor Ya Ping Wang
Professor in Urban Studies, University of Glasgow
Professor Ya Ping Wang’s research focus on urbanisation, housing, inequality, migrants, urban social and neighbourhood changes in China and other developing countries in Asia and Africa. His work has been funded by the UK Research and Innovation, Economic and Social Research Council, Department for International Development, British Academy, Leverhulme Trust and several international organisations. Ya Ping is the Director and Principal Investigator of the Centre for Sustainable, Healthy and Learning Cities and Neighbourhoods (SHLC), an eight country collaborative project funded by the UK Global Challenge Research Fund.
