Professor Ursula Martin

Professor Ursula Martin is a computer scientist with current research interests in the empirical study of the practice of mathematics; mathematics policy and the impact; and the history of mathematics and computer science. She joined the University of Oxford in 2014 and previous roles include Vice Principal, Science and Engineering at Queen Mary University of London and Professor of Computer Science at the University of St Andrews. In 2012, Ursula was awarded CBE in the 2012 New Year Honours for Services to Computer Science and in 2017 was elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
