The RSE Fellowship comprises around 1,800 leading experts in the sciences, arts, business, professions and the third and public sectors, with links to Scotland. This range of expertise within the Fellowship places us in a unique position to provide an informed, interdisciplinary response to issues facing Scotland and internationally.

Professor Steve Wigmore
Regius Professor fo Clinical Surgery, University of Edinburgh, University Of Edinburgh
Stephen Wigmore is the Regius Professor of Clinical Surgery at the University of Edinburgh. He is surgeon to Her Majesty the Queen in Scotland. He is past President of the British Transplantation Society and is currently the Treasurer of the BJS Society and Honorary Secretary of the James IV Association of Surgeons. He is the Editor in Chief of the journal HPB. He is a practising surgeon who specialises in surgery of the liver, pancreas and bile ducts.
