Professor Stephen Brusatte
Columbia University
I am a palaeontologist and geologist on the faculty of the School of GeoSciences at the University of Edinburgh. I study the anatomy, genealogy, and evolution of dinosaurs and other extinct animals, with the aim of understanding how evolution works over long timescales and how the earth changes over time. I am also a keen communicator of science: I have written several books for kids and adults, appear often on television and radio, and consult regularly with the press.
