Professor Sally Wyke is a social scientist who applies social scientific theory and methods to complex interventions to improve health and well-being. She is Deputy Director, Social Sciences of the University of Glasgow’s Institute of Health and Wellbeing. She was Foundation Director of the Scottish School of Primary Care (2000-04) and Director of the Alliance for Self-Care Research (2005-11). Sally has expertise in pragmatic approaches to robust evaluation of complex interventions using comparative designs and mixed methods, in community-based support for weight management and primary care-based support for health and wellbeing.
