Ross Anderson is Professor of Security Engineering at Edinburgh University and also at Cambridge University. He has made pioneering contributions to cryptographic protocols, hardware tamper-resistance, peer-to-peer systems, security usability, the economics of information security and the empirical study of cybercrime.
