Professor Robert Stamps is a physicist who works in the area of condensed matter physics, on topics that include Brillouin light scattering theory, nonlinear excitations in magnets, spin and charge transport in magnetic metals, and electromagnetic excitations in nanostructured media. He joined the University of Glasgow in 2011 after 12 years at the University of Western Australia and six years at the University of Colorado, USA.
