Professor Ravinder Dahiya is a distinguished academic known for his distinctive contributions to the field of electronic skin, mechanisms underlying tactile sensing and large area energy generating skin. His research on tactile sensing has immensely benefitted the fields of robotics, prosthetics and wearable systems. He has also made several important advancements in flexible electronics by pioneering new directions such as high-performance electronics through resource efficient printing technologies and sustainable materials. He is the President of IEEE Sensors Council and Fellow of IEEE, which reflect his internationally renowned achievements.
