Professor Pamela Gillies

Professor Pamela Gillies is a Professor of Public Health whose research has focused on HIV/AIDS prevention and the potential of social action to reduce health inequalities. Previously a Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Nottingham, and Visiting Professor at Harvard University, she was a member of the Board of Trustees of the British Council for six years, and is a member of the Global Advisory Board for the African Leadership University. Pamela is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health of the Royal College of Physicians of London, the Academy for Social Sciences, and is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow.
