Professor Mark Logan

Mark has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the internet technology sector. He was instrumental in the success of multiple start-ups, including as COO of Skyscanner. Mark has been awarded Institute of Directors Director of the Year (2014), UK Digital Masters award for Excellence in General Management (2016) and holds an Honorary Doctorate of Science (University of Glasgow, 2019). Mark is now a start-up/scale-up advisor, investor and non-executive director in Scotland and internationally. He is a Professor at the University of Glasgow’s School of Computing Science, a Senior Fellow at University of Strathclyde’s Innovation Centre and a Scottish Government advisor on technology policy. Mark leads the government’s high tech sector development programme following the Scottish Technology Ecosystem Review he authored in 2020.
