Professor Maria Fusco

Maria Fusco is a working-class interdisciplinary writer. Born in Belfast, she lives and works in Scotland. Her award-winning work is published and performed internationally and has been commissioned by organisations including: Artangel; BBC Radio 4; Film London; National Theatre Wales; Pompidou Centre, Paris and the Royal Opera House. She has received funding from bodies including: AHRC; British Council; Creative Scotland and Andy Warhol Foundation. Currently holding a personal Chair in Interdisciplinary Writing at the University of Dundee, she previously held posts at University of Edinburgh and Goldsmiths, University of London.
