Malcolm is Chair of Applied Space Technology at the University of Strathclyde. He is also distinguished by his media profile and his work in bridging the gap between academia, industry, and government, and has held board level roles in start-up companies as well as the UK government. His work aims to enable and develop new space-derived services, challenging conventional ideas and working at the interface between disciplines.
