Dr. E. Elizabeth Patton is currently a Group Leader at the MRC Institute for Genetics and Molecular Medicine in Edinburgh, with a specific interest in melanoma. Dr. Patton received a BSc (Honours) degree from King’s College at Dalhousie University and a PhD from the University of Toronto, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School and The University of Oxford. Her laboratory currently uses zebrafish and mice as model systems to understand the genetics of melanocyte and melanoma development.
