Professor Judith Phillips (OBE) is a social scientist researching in the field of social, behavioural, and environmental aspects of ageing. Judith is Professor of Gerontology and the Deputy Principal (Research) at the University of Stirling. She led the UKRI Social, Behavioural and Design Research Programme under the Healthy Ageing Challenge and has expertise in areas such as healthy cognitive ageing; social care and carers; housing and urban design. She is interested in building interdisciplinary networks and capacity in ageing research as well as supporting links between the various academies across the UK particularly working with the Learned Society of Wales and the Academy of Social Sciences.
