Professor Josep Call is a comparative psychologist who specialises in primate cognition. His research focuses on the cognitive processes underlying ecological and social problem-solving in primates and other animals. He has developed innovative ways to assess inferential reasoning, future planning and perspective-taking abilities in bird and mammals. The ultimate goal of Josep’s multi-species research approach is to contribute to explaining how cognition evolves.
