Professor Jonathan Fraser
Professor of Mathematics, University of St Andrews
Jonathan Fraser is a Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of St Andrews, where he has worked since 2016. He was previously a Lecturer at the University of Manchester (2014-16) and a post-doc at the University of Warwick (2013-14). He gained his PhD in 2013 from the University of St Andrews. Jonathan is a pure mathematician and his research centres on fractal geometry, that is, the study of abstract geometrical and analytical properties of objects which exhibit complexity across a large range of length scales. This involves using ideas from several areas, including dynamical systems, combinatorics, and analysis.
