Professor Jo Shaw

Professor Jo Shaw has held the Salvesen Chair of European Institutions at the University of Edinburgh since 2005, following periods at the universities of Leeds and Manchester, where she held a Chair in European Law. Her expertise is in the field of citizenship and constitutionalism, especially in the context of the EU. She holds a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship (2018–2020), during which she is studying citizenship regimes in a broader global perspective.
