Professor Ian Rivers
Professor of Education for Social Change, University of Strathclyde
Professor Ian Rivers is Associate Principal and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Strathclyde. He is a psychologist and educator and researches bullying behaviour in schools, focusing particularly upon the bullying of LGBTI young people and the psychological effects of being a bystander. More recently he has become interested in the ways in which marginalised young people engage with political movements to bring about change.
