Professor Frank Sullivan
Professor of Primary Care Medicine, University of St Andrews
An academic GP who graduated (1980) and trained in Glasgow before moving to Dundee in 1998. As director of the Scottish School of Primary Care, Primary Care Research Network and the Health Informatics Centre I helped develop the infrastructure for community based research, particularly using health data science. During my three years (2014-17) as the Inaugural chair of the University of Toronto’’s Practice based Research network these methods have been deployed in Canada. I moved back to Sotland as the chair of Primary Care Medicine in St Andrews.
