Fellowship

Professor David Sigsworth operated at the forefront of renewable energy development whilst a Director of SSE plc. Between 2008 and 2015, David was Chair of the environmental regulator, Scottish Environment Protection Agency, and led the board in setting and overseeing a transformational strategy to improve regulatory effectiveness. His interests in regulation remain as Chair of CMA (Scotland) Ltd and the think tank Sustainability First. In 2016, he led a working group that developed a wide-ranging vision for the eradication of fuel poverty in Scotland. He is an Honorary Professor at the University of Dundee and supports entrepreneurs in new start companies mainly in the environmental and life sciences markets.
