Professor David Horn
Professor of Parasite Molecular Biology, University of Dundee
Professor David Horn gained his PhD in Molecular Biology from University College London in 1993 and joined The Rockefeller University, USA as Postdoctoral Associate. Between 1997 and 2013, he held various positions at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine before leaving to join the faculty at the University of Dundee. Research focuses on tropical diseases, which continue to have a devastating impact on health; and drugs, drug resistance and virulence mechanisms with the aim of aim of devising more effective and durable treatments.
