Professor Campbell Leith
Professor of Macroeconomics, University of Glasgow
Professor Campbell Leith is a macroeconomist whose research covers empirical and theoretical aspects of macroeconomics, in both closed and open economy environments. Within this broad setting, his work is typically focused on monetary and fiscal policy design, as well as the interaction between these two branches of macroeconomic policy. Campbell has been a Professor of Macroeconomics since 1999 after previously holding positions at University of Exeter and University of Strathclyde. He has held various editorial positions and has served on the last two RAE panels, the ESRC’s Grant Assessment Panel, and the Leverhulme Prize in Economics.
