Renowned for developing methods for economic appraisal of health interventions and founding GCU’s world-leading Yunus Centre for social Business & Health, Cam also served as Pro Vice Chancellor Research (2016-21) when GCU became the first university to base its research strategy on the Sustainable Development Goals. Previously Health Foundation Chair at Newcastle University, Svare Chair at University of Calgary and Professor at Aberdeen University, Cam’s work has been recognised through a Public Services Fellowship funded by the Economic & Social Research Council and senior investigatorships from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the National Institute for Health Research.
