Professor Andy Sloan

Professor Andy Sloan is Managing Director of COWI in the UK, one of Scandinavia’s leading engineering consultants. He is Visiting Professor in civil engineering at Strathclyde University. His area of expertise is in geotechnical engineering, tunnel design and the development of underground space. He served for several years as a member of the Committee of Radioactive Waste Management which advises the UK Gov on radioactive waste. He is involved in the delivery of major infrastructure and energy projects and has a keen interest in the drive for more sustainable infrastructure.
