Professor Andrew McIntosh
Professor Andrew McIntosh’s research focusses on identifying the causes and consequences of depression. His particular expertise is in the use of genetic approaches to studying the disorder within population based studies. He co-chairs the Major Depressive Disorder Working Group of the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium and the MQ mental health charity’s Data Science Group. He works at the University of Edinburgh Division of Psychiatry within the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences
