Professor Andrew Hopkins is Chair of Medicinal Informatics, SULSA Research Professor of Translational Biology at the School of Life Sciences, University of Dundee, and has been Director of the National Phenotypic Screening Centre since 2016. His research is focused on innovating new computational and biophysical methods to significantly improve the efficacy of drug discovery which has been commercialised through ex Scientia, a company focused on automated drug design, of which he is Chief Executive.
