Professor Alexander Tudhope
Chair of Climate Studies, University Of Edinburgh
Professor Alexander Tudhope is one of Scotland’s most well-regarded earth scientists. His research explores global climate variability associated with Pacific oscillations such as the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO), global sea-level change and the survival of coral reefs in an increasingly acidic ocean. He is active internationally and contributes to governance boards such as the Edinburgh Centre of Carbon Innovation (ECCI), which focuses on climate change, society and policy, as well as inter-institutional research centres.
