Ms Jude Barber
Architect-Director, Collective Architecture
Jude Barber is an architect and director at Collective Architecture. The 100% employee-owned studio has created key residential, cultural strategic projects around the UK. In parallel with studio practice, Jude co-created The Empire Café with writer Louise Welsh and Voices of Experience with Suzanne Ewing and Nicola Mclachlan. She is a Board member of the Glasgow Women’s Library, a visiting tutor at the
University of Sheffield and Council member at the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland. In 2018, Jude was named ‘Creative Industry Leader’ at the Scottish Women’s Awards and shortlisted for the 2020 Building Design ‘Architectural Leader of the Year’.
