Peter has worked across the private and public sectors as a civil engineer and programme manager, an infrastructure financier and consultant in the big-4 and a public sector leader. He has been at the Scottish Futures Trust, a public sector centre of infrastructure expertise, since its inception in 2008 becoming CEO in 2018. SFT sits between industry, Scottish Government and Local Government – leading long-term infrastructure and asset strategy development across sectors, innovation in funding and financing, moving policy into delivery, managing investment programmes and making the best use of existing assets in the transition net a net zero economy.
