Mr Neil Firth
Director, Pier Arts Centre
Neil Firth is Director of the Pier Arts Centre and a native of Orkney. He has over thirty years’ experience in the museums and arts sector and led the Centre’s multi-million pound regeneration, which gained national and international awards including the Andrew Doolan Award for the Best New Building in Scotland. Under his Directorship the Centre has developed its profile for contemporary programming, collecting and community engagement. He is a Trustee of the Little Sparta Trust and has served as a Board member of Museums Galleries Scotland and on the National Galleries of Scotland and Tate steering panel for ARTIST ROOMS.
