The RSE Fellowship comprises around 1,800 leading experts in the sciences, arts, business, professions and the third and public sectors, with links to Scotland. This range of expertise within the Fellowship places us in a unique position to provide an informed, interdisciplinary response to issues facing Scotland and internationally.

Our Fellows from academia, business and public service are among the most distinguished in their fields. We engage and connect nationally and internationally to share knowledge and tackle the most pressing challenges of the modern world.

Mr Keith Cochrane
CEO, Schenck Process Group
Keith Cochrane is one of Scotland’s most experienced business leaders and has led some of the largest UK companies. In 2009, he became Chief Executive of The Weir Group, having joined the company originally in 2003. He is currently Chief Executive of Schenck Process Group, a German headquartered international engineering group. Previous positions include: Group Director of Finance, Scottish Power and Group Chief Executive, Stagecoach Group. In addition, Keith is a trustee of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Study Conferences, which provides education and leadership development opportunities for young people throughout the Commonwealth, and was a Governor of Glenalmond College.
