The RSE Fellowship comprises around 1,800 leading experts in the sciences, arts, business, professions and the third and public sectors, with links to Scotland. This range of expertise within the Fellowship places us in a unique position to provide an informed, interdisciplinary response to issues facing Scotland and internationally.

Our Fellows from academia, business and public service are among the most distinguished in their fields. We engage and connect nationally and internationally to share knowledge and tackle the most pressing challenges of the modern world.

Mr Ian Stevens
Chief Executive Officer, Bsolve Dental
Ian Stevens has been CEO of thin dissolving film manufacturer Bsolve Dental since 2017. Ian is a graduate of Edinburgh University, former Royal Air Force officer and chartered accountant who worked for KPMG from 1991 to 1997. Between 1998 and 2007 Ian was employed by retinal imaging company Optos, firstly in the role of CFO and then as General Manager North America. From 2007 to 2010 Ian was CEO of surgical medical device company Mpathy Medical and from 2011 to 2016 he was CEO of prosthetic hand manufacturer Touch Bionics.
