Crawford Beveridge’s 40-year career has spanned business and public service, with a focus on the technology industry in the UK, Switzerland and the US. In 1985 he joined Sun Microsystems, Inc. as Vice-President of Corporate Services before beginning a nine-year stint as Chief Executive of the Scottish Enterprise, the economic development agency for Scotland. Crawford re-joined Sun Microsystems, Inc in 2000 as Executive Vice President. Other roles include Non-Executive chairman of Autodesk and Board Member of Memec and Scottish Equity Partners. He currently Chairs the Scottish Goverenment’s Council of Economic Advisers.
