Appointed CEO of Scottish Financial Enterprise in October 2020. Prior to SFE, held a number of senior HR and Transformation Director roles in both Financial Services and the Energy sectors. In particular, the Transformation Director at Tesco Bank, the Group People Director at Standard Life, was also responsible for Standard Life’s Insurance Joint Venture in China and was Chair of Standard Life Asia. I continue to act as a senior Board advisor to the insurance business in HK. Prior to these roles, I held senior leadership positions at AEGON, ScottishPower and the Royal Bank of Scotland. In addition, I currently hold a number of third sector roles and leaderships positions in the area of employability, including Chair of Career Ready, Trustee on Place2Be, Chair of the Young Person Guarantee in Scotland and Chair of Developing Young Workforce. I received an MBA from Edinburgh University in 1996 and was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in 2018 for services to business and social mobility.
