Professor Marion Kay Campbell FRSE

Professor Marion Campbell is Professor of Health Services Research and Director of the Scottish Government core-funded Health Services Research Unit at the University of Aberdeen. In 2017 she was appointed Vice-Principal Research at the university. A medical statistician by background, Marion’s primary research interests are in the methodology of evaluative research, especially large-scale clinical trials of complex interventions. She has particularly focused on the design, conduct and methodological advancement of surgical trials and of cluster randomised trials, publishing widely in these fields.
