Professor Jeremy David Wilson FRSE

Head of Conservation Science, RSPB Scotland.

Professor Jeremy Wilson has been Head of Conservation at the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) since 2001. Here, he is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of RSPB’s science programme in Scotland and in upland and marine environments throughout the UK. Jeremy holds an Honorary Chair at the University of Stirling and is Vice-President of the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club, and a member of Scottish Natural Heritage’s Scientific Advisory Committee. Research interests include problem-solving science to inform nature conservation, with a particular interest in understanding the impacts of land management, especially agricultural change, on bird populations.
