Jacqui is a veterinary parasitologist. Her research focusses on using science to find solutions to control helminths in horses and livestock sustainably. This includes development of recombinant nematode vaccines, ELISA based tests for diagnosis of equine worms, classical parasitological studies to provide new information on the epidemiology of these parasites, as well as studies on anthelmintic resistance and prescribing practices.
