Professor of Computational Biophysics, University of Edinburgh

I am a theoretical biophysicist whose work lies at the interface between physics and biology. My research has uncovered physical mechanisms underlying chromosome organisation and its relation to transcription. My group combines theory, large-scale simulation and close collaboration with experimental biologists to understand how genome organisation controls biological function and cellular identity.
