Professor Claire Miller FRSE

Professor of Statistics, University of Glasgow

Claire Miller is a Professor of Statistics in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Glasgow. Claire’s research interests include developing and applying spatiotemporal statistical and data analytics methodology to address challenges arising in environmental applications (in collaboration with multidisciplinary academic, public sector and industrial collaborators). Claire’s work on collaborative projects contributes to our understanding of relationships and connections in freshwater ecosystems and urban environments. Claire completed her undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Statistics (2003) and PhD in Statistics (2007) at The University of Glasgow, and she is a past president of The International Environmetrics Society.
