Sandy Finlayson is one of the founding partners of MBM Commercial LLP and was Senior Partner until 2015. Although now retired as partner, he continues to work for the firm in an ambassadorial role. Other current roles include Non-Executive Director of African Lakes Company Limited and Chairman of the Converge Challenge, a company creation competition and entrepreneurship development programme for staff, students and recent graduates of Scottish universities and research institutes aimed at creating a new generation of entrepreneurs in Scotland. He is also a Non-Executive Director of The Grassmarket Community Project which recently won the ‘Social Enterprise of the Year’ award. Sandy was awarded an OBE in 2017 for services to entrepreneurship.
