Global Macro Investment Strategist, Independent businessman and educationalist

I am an author, adviser to investment institutions on asset allocation and an educationalist. My expertise is in the use of financial history to understand the key drivers of asset prices and particularly the price of listed securities. As an educationalist I run a course in financial history for students at Heriot-Watt University and an executive education version of this course for professional investors. The financial history course is owned and operated by a charity I founded which also runs a global chain of business and financial history libraries and is involved with financial education in schools.
