Dame Mariot Leslie FRSE

Mariot Leslie is a former British diplomat with wide experience in Europe, Asia and multilateral diplomacy. She has been UK Permanent Representative to NATO, Ambassador to Norway, member and alternate chairman of the British Government’s Joint Intelligence Committee and FCO Director General of Defence and Intelligence. Since her retirement she has been based in Scotland where she was a member of the First Minister’s Standing Council on Europe after the Brexit referendum. She is a Co-chair of the advisory board of the Scottish Council on Global Affairs and a member of the advisory boards of the Centre for European Reform and the Royal United Services Institute. She is a director of the Scottish American Investment Company.
