Dame Fiona Rayment FRSE

Nuclear Policy Advisor and Non Executive Director, Scotland

Fiona has a plural career as a Non Executive Director and an Advisor of Nuclear policy, energy and capability. She has decades of nuclear experience within the UK and internationally and held previous roles as Chief Scientist at UKNNL and as an advisor within DESNZ. She is a chartered chemist and engineer and currently serves as the President of the Nuclear Institute, NED at NRS, NEM at UKSA, visiting professor at university of Manchester and honorary professor at university of Bangor. She is vice chair of the OECD NEA Steering Committee and a member of the ONR Chief Inspector’s Advisory Panel. She is passionate on enabling broader talent attraction and retention in STEM across the nuclear sector.
