The RSE Fellowship comprises around 1,800 leading experts in the sciences, arts, business, professions and the third and public sectors, with links to Scotland. This range of expertise within the Fellowship places us in a unique position to provide an informed, interdisciplinary response to issues facing Scotland and internationally.

Our Fellows from academia, business and public service are among the most distinguished in their fields. We engage and connect nationally and internationally to share knowledge and tackle the most pressing challenges of the modern world.

Dr Rabinder Buttar
President, CEO and Founder, ClinTec International Ltd.
Dr Rabinder Buttar is a global clinical researcher and entrepreneur with over three decades of experience with multinational pharmaceutical companies. She is Founder, Chairman and CEO of ClinTec International which she founded in 1997 and grew to have a presence in over 50 countries worldwide. Rabinder gained her BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Glasgow in 1983 and PhD in Immunology in 1989 from the University of Strathclyde. The British Science Council recognised Rabinder as one of the top 10 practising Entrepreneurial Scientists in Britain and she was named Female Business Leader of the Year at the Scottish Business Awards.
